CIFL Sevens Tournament – Warren Park

The CIFL Sevens kicks off tomorrow at 8:30am at Warren Park in Hornby. These grounds may be a little out of the way for some teams so please ensure you give yourself plenty of time to get to the fields, particularly the teams kicking off the first

Final Round field update

A last minute change to playing fields tomorrow for Navs United v Shirley Strikers in division 3. South Hagley has been closed the game has now moved to Middleton Grange at 12:30pm. Pray for warm dry winds to come dry up South Hagley for the sevens tournament

Round 9 fields allocated

The draw has been updated with fields for this weekend. With any luck we’ll have enough sun to dry out the pitch for the weekend. Any cancellations will be posted on the website on Saturday, 8:30 at the latest. Best of luck to all playing.

Round 6 fields added

Field assignments for this weekend have now been update. Templeton, Lyttelton and Nunweek Park have also been added to the Playing Fields page to provide you all with easy directions. Best of luck to all!

Round 1 Postponed

It looks like most city council fields won’t have their posts up and ready for kick-off at 10am this Saturday morning. As such, we’ve had to postpone Round 1 to 17th April. Looks like we all have 1 more week to refine our set plays…

Last minute field reallocation

A last minute amendment to the draw for this weekend – South City United 1 v. Powerhouse has been moved to Hornby High 1.

Round 7 fields allocated

Well, half of the round 7 fields are allocated as we’ve a few rescheduled matches due to holidays, events and flu (not the bacon flavoured thankfully). There are a lot of council owned fields closed but the weather outlook for the weekend is good. Please still check

New Playing Field

Ellesmere College has now been added to our growing list of available playing fields. This is the home turf of Division 3’s Issachar Warriors and from Round 5 we will start scheduling games there. Ellesmere is located in Leeston, south of Lincoln, so it’s a fair drive
